About me First I want to start off by thanking you for visiting HerpJunkie.com. My name is Reynaldo Neyra I reside in sunny and sometimes rainy Miami, Florida. Where I grew up my entire life. I go to Miami Dade College, where i've studied real estate, business management, and nutrition.
Interest in Herps Since I was younger I was surrounded by friends who were into reptiles. But I never really got deep into it. I looked at them, and thought they were fascinating to watch. But It wasn't until later on in my life, that i started to become fascinated with them. And i realized, on how much i missed out. Since then. I've been involving myself with reptiles as much as i could. By volunteering to work on the weekend at the Miami Museum of Science, reading about all various types of reptiles, going out herping with the crew, and of course spending my time in local pet stores and seeing if they have anything new and exotic.
Herp of Interest Originally my first reptile was a bearded dragon. I purchased him when he was just two weeks old, and I was intrigued by him and wanted to breed bearded dragons. But everything changed when I got my first Satanic Leaf Tail Gecko (Uroplatus Phantasticus). From there on, Satanic were my main reptile of interest and still are. I then went on to buy my second satanic, and then my third, fourth, fifth, and so on. Leading to the creation of the breeding colonies that I have. My first Satanic, still being my favorite of them all.
My Goal okay, so i'm going to try not to get into preaching on this part. But i have a dream! And that dream is to travel to different counties in the world. To have the opportunity to go out and see various kinds of reptiles and animals from all over the world. From North America, to South America. From Madagascar, to Australia.
Another goal that i have is to become the top breeder of Satanic Leaf Tails. With us already starting off with over a year of good breeding. And our breeding collection growing throughout the year. It has made it very fascinating to be able to study Satanics, not as individuals but also on how to relate to one another, and master their breeding techniques.
