Supply & Demand

With the uprising popularity of the Uroplatus Phantasticus in the United States.  The demand for them has gotten larger, and larger every
year.  Unfortunately not too many people are breeding these geckos, and that plays a huge factor in the importation of these amazing
geckos. Although, It’s common to buy a wild-caught gravid female, and end up with eggs.  Which is great!  In the end, you may find it very
difficult to actually raise the hatchlings.

With the high demand of Satanics, our breeding colony is expanding weekly as we get in new specimens.  What started off as a colony of
only four satanics, led to eight, then 12.   And now has turned into a community per say, of over 50 satanics.  That we keep strictly for
breeding purposes.

DID YOU KNOW? :
Most hatchlings can detect light through their egg shells prior to hatching.  Although limited, they are able to distinguish from Night & Day.
Hatchings will hatch out in the night, for survival reasons.  Most hatchlings aren't as fast on their feet the few minutes after they hatch out
from their shells.
Selective Breeding
To get satanics to breed, can take days, weeks, months, or if
you’re lucky.  It can happen all in a day of introducing a female
to the male.

After months of studying the mating habits of the male satanics,
as well as the female.  We pretty much have a huge idea on
how to instigate breeding.  Some of these methods we will
share with the public in our care sheet sections.  Other’s we
keep a company secret.

With these techniques, we hope to pair up particular specimens,
to help create the foundations of new satanic morphs.  And
make it more easier for satanic leaf tail admirers, to get the
morphs that they so desire, at a reasonable price.  Instead of
over paying for a ridiculous amount of money for a wild caught
one.

With a lot of resources being put into selective breeding.  Who
know’s the possibilities.  Possibly one day, we can successfully
hatch out the first albino satanic leaf tail gecko.
Please be sure to come back, and check this section out in the future.  As we are currently
making preparations to breed some our of specimens to help establish some color morphs.
Maroon Morph:
The Maroon morph is basically a standard color of Satanics.  The colors
may vary depending on individual satanic.  We had satanics that turn red
like a rose, and others that turn into a shade of purple mixed with red.
Golden Morph:
The golden morph is a bit more harder to find.  I only come across two.
One we bought, the other one we hatched out from the first one.  This
morph has also a lot of attention from us, as it is one of the morphs that
we will be focusing on a lot.
Gold & Brown Morph:
The gold & brown morph is most commonly seen in male satanics.  It
usually resembles a chocolate color brown, with patches of gold around
it’s body.  The male in the picture has special white patches with reddish
dot patterns, a pattern that we haven’t seen yet in any of his off springs.
Gray Morph:
Gray color Satanics, are commonly found in the pet trade.  Although
they are not as appealing as other satanics can be.  The ones in our
breeding collections, have unique patterns, extra body spines, and
extreme tail notches.  It’s these satanics, that help build a foundation
for other physical morphs besides their color itself.
Green moss morph:
Some satanics have green moss color dots on their body.  It’s these
satanics that have a large amount of green that we are interbreeding in
order to create a satanic that can possibly be entirely green.  It’s a
possibility, that we are slowly working on.
Dalmatian Morph:
Self explanatory.  In our breeding colony, we came across a male satanic
that had small black dots on his back.  They all perfectly align together to
create a pattern similar to that of a Monocle cobra.  This Dalmatian
morph is heretical, as we have also seen this trait passed on other
satanics he has fathered.  Although they didn’t get the Monocle shape
on their back.  They did get patterns of spots across their spine.
Brown Morph:
The brown morph is similar to gray morph.  Except with the extra
secondary shades of brown throughout the satanic’s body.   Brown
satanics can blend into the ground if you use substrates like peat moss,
bed a beast, and so forth.  We once had a false alarm.  Thought we lost
one of our gravid females, and looks all over.  To realize she was in front
of us the entire time on the ground.  Completely camouflaged with the
substrate.
Spiny Morph:
Spiny morph is not a color morphed, but Satanic with excess amount of
spines on the body.  This is commonly found in male satanics than it is
found with females.  The gray satanics in the pictures to the right has a
large amount of spines throughout his body.  Although hard to
photograph with a normal camera.  Any high quality camera, can easily
pick up this trait.
Extreme Notches:
Extreme Notches Morph is not a color based morph.  But more of a
composition of a satanics tail, which are designed to look like ficus
leaves.  But also have small bite Notches that look like insects have been
eating the leaf/tail.  This is more commonly found on male satanics.
